Mia's First Word in Spanish.

Mia knows a few words and she says them when she wants it to:
Hi Daddy, hi, mommy, caca, sock.
I’m also talk to her in Spanish but so far she wasn’t picking up any.
We are trying to teach her manners as well: thank you, please and again we are doing it in Spanish as well.
Well Mia started to say GRACIAS, of course her version of it she says something like: Grashiii, but close enough.

Mia is 11 months old

My dearest Mia,
You are 11 months old today - I can hardly believe it. You are truly becoming a little girl now.
You started pulling up and now you pull up on anything and everything - even smooth walls. You can cruise along a table but you haven’t shown much interest in letting go, you will squat and get on your butt if things aren’t close enough or if you want to sit, you don’t let yourself hit the floor, you do it really slowly which is really cute. We might even see you take a few steps, but I’m not pushing you on that one - it’s hard enough to keep track of you with crawling. And I’m positive more teeth will come in since you have been sick for the last couple of days.
You point at things when you want something, you say yes with your head if you want your bottle or food when we show them to you and you say no with your head if you don’t want something anymore. You say “hi daddy” very clearly now; And you have really long conversations even though we can’t understand you.
You had you first Valentine’s day and you were really happy with the gifts that you got:
A Dora and boots balloon, two cards, a dog and a bag of heart lollipops.
I can’t believe you’ll be one in a month. And its bittersweet - I love to see you grow and learn new things, but I will miss my tiny tiny baby as well.

In the Last Week

A lot had happened in the last week, first Mia graduated and on Monday 01/26 she started on her new classroom “C” the crawling babies. She started a new schedule, which I wasn’t ready for it, she seen to be adapting very well, but for some reason I can’t keep up with it on the weekend.
7:30-8:30 am they get breakfast
9:00 a.m morning bottles
11:00 a.m lunch
12:00- 3:00 pm naptime
3:00 pm afternoon bottle and snacks

It doesn’t look so complicated, but trust me I can’t keep her up to this schedule and naptime impossible there is no way I can keep her up until 12.

Also on Monday Mia fell out of our bed, when I was watching her. It was horrible; I wanted to cry with her. I put her on our bed and I turned my back on her for one minute and she was on the floor. She didn’t get any buns on her head but she scrapes her little nose.

Mia got her 2nd teeth, last week Shaun discovered that it was coming out, poor little one she has diarrhea and we think is because of that. She doesn’t have any fever but she seems a little needy.

You started pulling up, and now you pull up on anything and everything you can. She's growing up and changing too fast! I wish I could freeze time and enjoy each new phase longer! It was only a month ago we could sit her on a blanket in the living room with her favorite toys surrounding her and she would sit still and quietly play for a long time! Now, we can't take our eyes off of her! She is everywhere and in to everything!
